Sedalia Police Reports For May 3, 2023

Tuesday night, Officers responded to the Break Time store, 808 East Broadway Boulevard, in reference to an intoxicated subject. Officers identified the subject, and it became apparent he could not care for himself. Sergei S. Gladush Jr., 44, Homeless, was taken into Safekeeping custody. Gladush was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
Officers were dispatched to a found property report in the lobby of the Police Department Tuesday morning. A debit card was found in the 200 block of South Ohio Avenue. It was turned over to the Police Department. The Officer attempted to return the card, but was unsuccessful. The car was entered evidence for safekeeping.
Monday morning, the Sedalia Fire Department, the Sedalia Police Department, and the Pettis County Ambulance District were dispatched to a house fire. The fire was in the 1500 block of East 4th Street. The Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire. There is no foul play suspected.
