A Sedalia man was injured in a Johnson County wreck that occurred Friday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2008 Ford F-350 driven by 61-year-old Scott F. Simmons of Centerview traveled through the intersection at US Highway 50 and NW 601 Road at 4:30 p.m. and into the path of an eastbound 2017 Ford Focus driven by 47-year-old Edward L. Spencer of Sedalia.

Spencer, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by JCAD for treatment.

Simmons was reportedly uninjured.

The F-350 had extensive damage, while the Focus was totaled.
