Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market Extends Selling Season
The Sedalia's Farmer Market opens their third annual market later this month.
Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market will again extend the selling season for part of the winter months to meet popular demand. Locally grown seasonal produce, eggs, meats, homemade baked goods, hot ethnic foods, knife sharpening, handmade soaps, and other products will be available on Tuesdays from October 29thth through December 17th; and then again from March 3rd through April 21st.
The Winter Market will be located in the atrium area between Brian’s Gym and Westlake’s Ace Hardware at 1020 Thompson Boulevard. Business hours will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market is a non-profit, producers-only market founded in 2009. All vendors must grow or make what they sell at the market. All vendors are from Pettis or its contiguous counties with limited exceptions. The Winter Market is open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from October 29, 2019 through December 17, 2019. After a brief break it will open again early spring on Tuesdays, March 3rd, 2020 through April 21st, 2020.
