The Sedalia and Hughesville Christmas Parades will take place this Saturday!

The Sedalia Christmas Parade begins at 10:00 Saturday morning in Downtown Sedalia on Ohio Ave. The theme this year is, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.' Several floats and Christmas cheer will help welcome-in the holiday season.

The Sedalia Christmas Parade is sponsored by the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce.

Pettis County residents will then have the chance to see another parade later in the afternoon, as the 50th Annual Hughesville Christmas Parade begins at 2:00.

The Hughesville parade will line-up on Summit Street from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m, with judging to take place from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m.

After the parade, Santa Claus will hand-out treats in front of Town Hall. There will be hot dogs, chili, and a bake sale on Main Street in Hughesville, with the concession stand opening at 11:00 a.m.
