Well, it's Wednesday.  You're at the exact middle of the week, and Friday doesn't seem to be getting any closer.  Let's take a moment to enjoy some Schadenfreude. If you're not farmiliar, Schadenfreude is a word in German that pinpoints the  pleasure derived from the misfortune of others. Borrowed from German into English and several other languages, it is a feeling of joy that comes from seeing or hearing about another person's troubles or failures. It is similar in meaning to the English term "gloating", an expression of pleasure or self-satisfaction at one's own success or another's failure.  Basically, dumb criminals who should know better.

An unidentified Michigan man, who broke into a house, fled when he woke up the owner, then he ran into a tree, knocked himself unconscious, and got arrested.  The unidentified robber broke into a house around 1:10 a.m., but woke up the man who lives there.
So the homeowner chased him out and the robber ran into the woods. When the police arrived they found the robber hadn't made it very far. He apparently knocked himself out by running into a tree in the dark. Police officers revived him, and then arrested him for home invasion and obstructing police.

If you look at the rings in the tree, you can see how many years the guy is gonna spend in jail.  This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. But it’s funny because if you Google “stupid criminals,” you get a photo of the Trump family.

Candice A. Kreidel, 37, a Tennessee woman, who was arrested after she ran around chasing cars, half-naked and wearing clown makeup. Police arrived to find Kreidel wearing a sports bra, pajama-style bottoms, a stocking cap and wearing clown makeup on her face and body.  The arresting deputy also learned Kreidel had apparently called 911 four times berating, threatening and cursing at dispatchers. The deputy determined Kreidel was intoxicated and a danger to herself and others and he arrested her and took her off to jail.

The moral of the story is, never drink Red Bull and Fire Water. This woman’s nuts. And I mean, we’ve all gotten drunk and chased cars in the nude, but to put on clown makeup?

Officer Julian Archuleta, a Denver police officer who was busted by his own body camera for stealing cash evidence.   The video from his body camera shows Archuleta searching a suspect's clothing after a drug bust.  He discovers an unknown amount of cash and sets it on the passenger seat. One stack of bills in the video contains a $100 bill on the outside of the stack. Officer Archuleta is seen separating that $100 bill and other bills that were stacked inside it. The camera pans away from the passenger seat and when the seat is back in view there are no large bills visible.  During an internal investigation Officer Archuleta told a detective that he found 12 $100 bills in his war bag and that the money "must have fallen in his bag." He later turned that money over to Internal Affairs, but declined to make a statement. He was was arrested and suspended without pay and faces charges of misdemeanor theft, 1st degree official misconduct and tampering with physical evidence.

The judge set bail at $5,000, which he paid with the money in his sock.

Schadenfreudenly yours,
Behka
