Rob Gets His First Bow from Rusty Toad Archery in Smithton [PHOTOS]

A few weeks ago, Huntin' Harry took me out to shoot his bow a little so he could warm up for a tournament. Well I shot about two arrows and was hooked immediately. I decided I wanted to get in to this archery thing. Luckily, Harry knew just the place to go: Rusty Toad Archery in Smithton.

Rusty Toad is a legit full service archery pro shop, run out of a converted garage. The owners, Eric and Rusty, must really know their stuff because the place was packed when we stopped in. The shop was full of people just hanging out, watching the Outdoor Network, talking to the guys and getting work done on their bows.

Eric was incredibly helpful, and hooked me up with a real nice used bow. He got it all put together, sighted, fitted and everything right in front of me, explaining to me what he was doing the whole time, and gave me a ton of help and advice while I was shooting. I can't wait until I actually know what I'm doing!

Rusty Toad Archery is a really cool little gem in our area, I can't say enough good things about it. Check out a few of the pictures I took below!
