Railroad Crossing at Engineer Closed for Maintenance Tuesday
On Tuesday, Jan. 12, beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing through 3 p.m., Union Pacific railroad will be completing maintenance on the crossing on North Engineer, south of East Howard Street and north of East Third Street.
The work will require North Engineer Avenue to be closed to through traffic between East Howard Street, and East Third Street.
Traffic will need to find an alternate route to their destination during this period as Union Pacific makes improvements to the crossing.
The nearest roadways allowing crossing of the UP rail line from the North Engineer job site are to the west North Washington Avenue and to the east North Emmett Ave.
