Rail Crossing Improvements Noted by Sedalia

Union Pacific Railroad has notified the City of Sedalia that beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13 and continuing through 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, Union Pacific will be making improvements to the rail crossing at the street intersection at Engineer Avenue.

Travelers will need to plan alternate routes as the roadway will be closed to through traffic during the planned construction period.

The map shows the closest through street to the east of Engineer Avenue is Emmet Avenue and the closest through street to the west of Engineer Avenue is Washington Avenue.

The City apologized for any inconvenience this may cause as Union Pacific works to improve their rail crossing in Sedalia.
