Early Tuesday morning, Pettis County Deputies stopped a vehicle in the area of West 9th Street and South Harrison Avenue. The vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the day out of Jefferson City. The two occupants were identified and arrested at the scene. Jordan Cameron Willis, 26, of Jefferson City, was arrested for felony Tampering With a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree and felony Possession of Methamphetamine. Jessica Collins-Willibrand, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Possession of Methamphetamine. Both Willis and Collins-Willibrand were transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold. Willis was booked in pending a $15,000 cash or surety bond on the drug charge, and no bond was given on the tampering charge. Collins-Willibrand was given a cash or surety bond of $25,000.

Monday afternoon, Deputies responded to the 200 block of Mockbee Street in Hughesville. The Deputies were to investigate a report of an abandoned vehicle. When Deputies arrived, the vehicle had been tagged for removal 48 hours prior to the call. The vehicle was towed without incident.


 

Deputies were dispatched to the 3600 block of West Main Street Tuesday morning for a report of assault. The suspect was identified and located nearby. Keith J. Barnes Jr., 23, of Lincoln, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Barnes was placed on a 24-hour hold pending felony charges of Assault in the 3rd Degree with bond set at $3500 cash or surety.
