Sunday afternoon, a Pettis County Deputy observed a red Ford Mustang traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on US 50 at West Front Street in La Monte. The Deputy initiated a vehicle stop, and the Mustang failed to yield. After a short pursuit reaching speeds in excess of 100 MPH, the Mustang pulled over. The driver was identified as Jackson White, 19, of Lone Jack. White was arrested for Speeding (Exceeding 26 MPH), and Operating a Motor Vehicle Owned by Another Knowing the Owner had Failed to Maintain Financial Responsibility. White was booked and released with summonses, and the vehicle was towed.


 

Friday afternoon, Deputies responded to the 2800 block of Highway TT in Pettis County, for a warrant service. Deputies located and identified Ronald William Duncan Jr., 43, of Camdenton. A warrant check revealed two Pettis County felony warrants for Probation Violation. One warrant cited original charges of felony Burglary in the 2nd Degree (Class D), and another two cited felony Stealing (Class D). Duncan was placed under arrest without incident, and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in without bond.

Deputies observed a subject in the area of East 19th Street and South Lamine Avenue on the afternoon of March 17th. This subject was known to have an active warrant from Pettis County for their arrest. After confirmation, Deputies arrested Mason James Heston, 20, of Sedalia for his Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License (Class D Misdemeanor). Heston was arrested without incident and transported to the Petti County Jail to be booked in on the warrant, pending a cash only bond of $150.00.


 

A subject check was conducted Saturday afternoon by Pettis County Deputies in the area near South Kentucky Avenue and West 36th Street Terrace. The subject identified himself as Garrett Charles Green, 33, of Sedalia. A warrant check confirmed he had a Sedalia municipal ordinance violation. Deputies arrested Green on his warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of Larceny/Stealing. Green was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in, pending a cash only bond of $60.00. The Deputy noted in their report that their Body Worn Camera was utilized for this incident.
