Thursday afternoon, Dale Soendker of Sedalia reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office an attempted Identity Theft. Soendker was the victim of a scam in the 25000 block of Anderson School Road the day before. The investigation continues.

On the afternoon of June 19th, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Highway U on a white Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep had expired plates and a brake light out. The driver was identified as Faith Lynn Martin, 20, of Sedalia. Martin had an active Pettis County Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Vehicle on the Highway With out a Valid License. Bond was set at $150 cash only. Martin was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was issued a summons for the warrant and another for Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle.
