Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports For February 28, 2022

This article is compiled from reports issued by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office. Early Saturday morning, Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the 32000 block of Ringen Road in regard to a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, Stephanie Foster, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested for Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree and Assault in the 3rd Degree (Special Victims). Foster was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.

Monday morning, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of 15th Street and Kentucky Avenue. Subsequently, Michael E. Barnett, 44, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest. Barnett was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Saturday afternoon, Deputies took a report from the 30000 block of Carpenter Road in Smithton in reference to property damage. A mailbox was destroyed.
