This article is compiled from reports issued by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office. Early Monday morning, Deputies responded to meet with a Henry County Deputy in reference to a county line transfer. Subsequently, Jennifer Neighbors, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be held on a Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Speeding. Neighbors was issued a bond totaling $194.00.


On the afternoon of December 4th, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop on a 2008 white BMW passenger car near the intersection of Cedar Road and Griessen Road as the vehicle did not have a front license plate. The driver, Morgan P. Roberts, of Sedalia, was arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant from the Sedalia Police Department on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License. Roberts also received two summons for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid License and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt. Bond was set at $60 cash only.


Pettis County Deputies and the K9 Unit responded to the 24000 block of Oak Grove Lane last Wednesday night in reference to a female subject with an outstanding warrant. Deputies were allowed to search the residence and found Jasmine C. Walker of Sedalia, hiding on a stair case. Walker was taken into custody without incident for her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Owned by Another Knowing The Owner Had not Maintained Financial Responsibility. Walker was issued a bond of $147.00 cash only.


Late Friday night, Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of US 65 and Violet Road in Pettis County in reference to subjects knocking on doors. Upon arrival, Deputies and the K9 Unit located two subjects walking south on US 65. Deputies made contact with the subjects and identified a subject as Brandon L. Martin, of Sedalia. Martin had an outstanding warrant out of Johnson County with a $250 cash only bond. Martin was transported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
