Monday night, Deputies conducted a warrant check in the 1000 block of East Lane in La Monte. Alicia Marie Sattler, 31, of La Monte, was arrested for her two active Pettis County warrants. Sattler was transported to the Pettis County jail to be booked in on her two Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Speeding. Bond was set at $401.00 cash only.


 

Saturday evening, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Hurley Avenue and East Boonville Street. The stop was conducted on a tan Pontiac Grand Prix because of a registration violation. The driver was identified, and it was discovered she had no operator’s status out of Missouri. Hannah Sue Perry, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested for No Operator’s Status (2nd Offense) and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Saturday night, Officers attempted a traffic stop on a white Jeep Liberty with an expired Missouri license plate. The incident began in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South Carr Avenue. The vehicle failed to stop and fled from the Officer. The vehicle continued to flee westbound without stopping. The vehicle fled further into Johnson County. The vehicle was spiked by Johnson County Deputies. The vehicle came to a stop and the driver was arrested without further incident after reaching speeds of 80-97 MPH. The vehicle was disabled and taken into custody near the intersection of Us 50 and Highway D. The driver was identified as Raymon Terrazz McCoy, 31, of Kansas City. McCoy had five active warrants for his arrest from the KC PD. As McCoy was arrested and placed into the patrol car, a bulge was noticed in the front of his shirt. The shirt was lifted, and an empty gun holster was revealed. A search of the vehicle located a clear plastic wrapper with a white crystal substance in plain view of the driver’s side door handle. In the center console, a plastic tube with a white crystal substance was found. Also in the center console, Deputies located an empty handgun magazine. Depuites located a black backpack with rounds from two different firearms in it, and located a handgun in the glove compartment. The handgun had six rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. As McCoy was entering the booking room, he advised he had a clear plastic baggie with a white crystal substance in his pocket. Later, the Jeep was towed from the scene. The tow truck driver called the PCJC, asking to speak with a Deputy. In the visors, the driver had located another clear plastic baggie with a white crystal substance in it. At the Sheriff’s Office, field testing of the baggies found fentanyl, and methamphetamine. McCoy had felony warrants for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, two counts of Tampering With A Motor Vehicle in the First Degree, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, felony Possession of a controlled Substance, Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree, and a no bond Probation Violation warrant. Additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Trafficking Drugs in the 2nd Degree, Driving While Revoked, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and felony Resisting Arrest were also filed. Bond on the warrants totaled $10,000 cash only. Bond on the new charges was set at $200,000 cash or surety.

UPDATE:  KSIS was originally told the charges against Gammill were for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Casenet 24PT-CR01273 states Gammill faces five charges of Child Molestation and two counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Child Under the Age of 14.  KSIS will update more on this story as  information becomes available.

On the morning of August 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to 5464 South Limit Avenue, to conduct a warrant check. After arriving on scene, Deputies made contact with a male subject in an RV camper along the back side of the park. The male’s information was checked with JCOMM, and the warrant was confirmed. Paul Gammill, 47, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety.


 

 

Sunday morning, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 22000 block of Highway T in Sedalia because the vehicle as failing to maintain its lane. After an investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). The vehicle was towed, and during an inventory check, approximately 44.5 grams of methamphetamine and fentanyl were discovered. David Michael Carrender, 54, of Sweet Springs, was transported to the Pettis County Jail. Carrender was placed on a 24-hour hold pending two charges of Trafficking Drugs in the 2nd Degree and Driving While Intoxicated. Bond was set at $150,000 cash or surety.


 

Friday afternoon, Deputies took a report of a theft of an item from the mail. The theft took place in the 27000 block of Rattlesnake Hill Road between the afternoon of August 16th and the morning of August 17th. The investigation continues.


 

Friday afternoon, Jordan Polk reported to the Sheriff’s Office that a license plate had been lost or stolen from a trailer parked at home. The plate had been lost or stolen sometime in the last two years.


 

Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the Aldi store, 3701 West Broadway Boulevard. The stop was conducted on a male subject they knew had a suspended driving status. Victor D. Grapes Junior, 54, of Marshall, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Grapes was booked and released on a charge of Driving While Suspended.


 

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kenneth D. Fisher, 50, of Florence at the Sheriff’s Office on a felony warrant for Statutory Sodomy/Attempted Statutory Sodomy/Deviate Sexual Intercourse (With A Person Less than 14 Years of Age). Fisher was transported to the Pettis County Jail, with his bond set at $125,000 cash or surety.
