Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports For April 11, 2023

Sunday night, Pettis County Deputies attempted a traffic stop in the area of East Broadway Boulevard and Highway M, because the vehicle had multiple equipment violations. The vehicle continued to drive, despite Deputies driving behind it with emergency lights and sirens activated. The vehicle eventually came to a stop near East 7th Street near Madison Avenue. The driver was found to be operating the motor vehicle without a valid license, and had a Clay County Failure to Appear warrant for the same charge. The driver, Candice M. McIntosh, 43, of Versailles, was placed under arrest. An inventory of the vehicle was conducted prior to it being towed. During the inventory, multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia were located. McIntosh was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of felony Resisting Arrest and felony Driving Without a Valid License, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The passenger, Phillip Steven Keller, 43, of Blue Springs, had an extradition order out of Kansas City and a Failure to Appear warrant from Jackson County on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $5,000 bond. Charges of Unlawful Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia are being sought against Keller, although he was released from the scene and was not arrested at the time of the report.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Grand Avenue and Brentwood Avenue Sunday morning because the vehicle had expired registration. The driver of the vehicle, Billie A. Green, 43, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest after it was discovered her driver’s license was suspended. Green also had a Failure to Appear warrant out of Henry County from August of 2022 on the same charge. Green was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in on charges of Driving While Suspended and the FTA warrant. Bond was set at $300 cash only.

Friday evening, Deputies took a report of Identity Theft in the 24000 block of Flint Road in Pettis County. There were no leads or suspects at the time of the report.

On the evening of April 6th, Deputies were dispatched to the Elm Hills Mobile Home Park in the 1400 block of Elm Hills Boulevard. The report was concerning an assault between two juveniles. Contact was made with both juveniles and their parents. A juvenile referral was completed, and both juveniles were released to their parents.
