Patrol Searches For Man Who Jumped Into Missouri River
The Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a search for a man in the Missouri River at Boonville Sunday afternoon.
According to a tweet from Troop F, at 11:41 a.m., a trooper observed what appeared to be a motorist assist on a bridge. As he pulled up to vehicle, a man jumped over the side, briefly resurfaced and disappeared.
The man was described as a white male in his 30s, wearing a tan shirt & camo pants.
A tweet posted at 6:03 indicated that the family of the victim was notified, but he was not identified at the time.
A search for the man included air, land and water.
Troop F asked the public to please call 911 or *55 with possible sightings.
