Page Turners and Plot Twists: Sedalia Residents Trade Books, Not Spoilers
Gentle reader, today I have an opportunity for you to read a little more. Only it will include actual books instead of...however you're reading this.
Bazoo Books is having a big event the third Saturday of every month - a book swap.
What's a Book Swap?
A book swap (also known as a book exchange, or "free bookstore with better people") is where folks bring their gently used reads and trade them for someone else’s. It's a fun, zero-dollar way to refresh your shelf, discover unexpected favorites, and meet fellow book nerds without having to fake small talk about the weather. Just bring the books you’ve read, half-read, or accidentally bought twice, and leave with something new-to-you (and hopefully not just another copy of The Da Vinci Code).
Of course they're not just for cute little meetings in the park, but you get it.
So What Are the Deets?
They'll be meeting at Bazoo Books, 1400 S Limit, Suite 7 (State Fair Shopping Center, think behind Wood's). The store will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, so I imagine you can just show up and they'll have a table set up or something. Then you just drop off the books you wanna leave behind, and see what's available to take with you. They'll also have little prizes and giveaways, so that should be a lot of fun!
So if you need details, you can call them at (660) 827-0940, email at readersworldsedalia@gmail.com, or you can message them on social media.
Don't miss it, your never-ending pile of "to be read" books is lonely.
Bookingly yours,
Behka
