Osage Beach Man Injured in Cole County Crash

An Osage Beach man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Cole County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2009 Nissan Altima, driven by 63-year-old Lloyd A. Burns of Osage Beach, was on US 54 at Monticello at 4:46 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a sign and overturned.

Burns suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by Cole County EMS to MU Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The Nissan was totaled.
