One Marshall Man Arrested, One Injured in Saline County Chase
A Marshall man was arrested following a chase in Saline County Sunday morning.
William Ray Rich, Jr. 29, Marshall, was the driver of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee being pursued by Saline County Deputies around 7:30 a.m., and ended at Routes E and H, when the vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.
Rich's passenger, 30-year-old Lewis G. Edde, also of Marshall, suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS.
Rich was taken to the Saline County Jail and now faces charges of:
Resisting arrest for a felony
1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle
Crop loss of $1,000 or more
Resisting felony arrest
Felony flee
Rich was held at the Saline County Jail where he was booked at 9:30 a.m., on a $10,000 bond on the tampering charge. The rest of the charges had no bond.
