My Pets May Hate Me, But I’m Not Opening The House Up
I don't know about you guys, but for some reason this weather lately has just been brutal.Maybe I got spoiled by our cool, rainy April - I've always loved to sit and listen to the rain. But now it's super humid and we have a ton of pollen everywhere... eugh. Not good.
So now, my cats are totally mad at me, because we've actually shut all the windows in the house. I mean, the temperature isn't so bad that I need it to be AC time, but I can't take the coughing that comes with the windows being open. So of course, they're going nuts, practically throwing themselves at the glass whenever they see a squirrel, a bird, or a bug. You'd think after a few tries they'd figure out that heads and glass don't mix.
Even if we do get a bit of a break, I don't know if I'll be opening the place up again this summer. I might be really sensitive or something, but it's just not worth it to me. We had a good month or so of fresh air, and now that fresh air is trying to kill me.
The coughing. I just can't take the coughing! Sure, it might be fun to watch the kitties enjoy the sights, smells, and what not of nature... but I think I'm tapped out on nature.
What about you? Are your windows open, or are you shut up like me?
Snottily yours,
Behka
