A Marshall woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2012 Dodge Avenger, driven by 18-year-old Heaven M. Amos of Marshall, was on Route O at Knapsack Drive around 1:15 a.m., when the Dodge left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

Amos suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.

The Dodge was totaled and towed by Diehm's Towing.

Amos was later arrested by the Patrol at 1:34 a.m. She now faces charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. Amos was taken to the Saline County Jail, where she was booked and released.
