Marshall Man’s Leg Injured in Saline County Accident
A Marshall man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday afternoon in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 31-year-old Nicholas A. Bakert of Marshall, was in the driver's seat of a northbound 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada at 18428 130th Road around 3:30 p.m. An occupant was partially in the driver's seat with Bakert. The left leg of the occupant was outside of the vehicle, according to the report. The Olds then struck a parked vehicle, a southbound Chevy S-10. The occupant's leg ended up pinned between the doors of the Olds and the Chevy.
25-year-old Alex E. Garner of Marshall, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS for treatment.
Both vehicles had minor damage.
