Marshall Man Injured in Saline County Crash

A Marshall man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Saline County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Larry P. Aulgur of Marshall was the driver of a westbound 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 on Missouri 240, west of 247th Road at 11:05 a.m., when he apparently suffered a medical condition, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence and a utility pole guide wire, then traveled through a corn field and came to rest in a ditch.

Aulgur suffered minor injuries, and was transported by Slater EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Dodge had minor damage.

Saline County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
