Man Who Stole Minibike From Woods Arrested For Felony Tampering
On Tuesday at 6:24 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to Woods Supermarket, 701 E. Broadway, for a theft report.
Taken was a Coleman mini bike. Officers were given a description of the suspect, and a short time later, the suspect was seen riding around on the mini bike in the area.
Officers converged on the suspect, and the suspect hid the mini bike near a shed behind a residence in the 1000 block of East 7th. And went inside.
Officers then entered the residence and took 26-year-old Hakeem S. Dickson of Sedalia into custody.
Drug-related items were located incident to arrest.
After further investigation, Dickson was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.
Dickson now faces charges of 1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle, felony tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
