Macks Creek Man Killed in Camden County Rollover
A Macks Creek man died in a crash that occurred Saturday night in Camden County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1994 Chevy 1500, driven by 61-year-old Martin B. Perez of Macks Creek, was on Missouri 7, north of Tranquil Woods Road (west of Greenview) around 7:20 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected twice and overturned, ejecting Perez.
Perez was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:23 p.m., by Camden County Medical Examiner Drew Hall. Perez was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The body was taken to Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home in Camdenton.
The Chevy was totaled.
Camden County Deputies assisted the Troopers on scene.
This was Troop F’s third fatality for October and the 39th for 2024.
