Kids, a lot of us out there are big fans of the original country music, or as the young people today say, "the old stuff."  I know that a lot of you are big fans of people like Hank Williams Sr., who was a pioneer in a lot of ways to the sounds we know today.

I got to talk with Quinn Gresham, Artistic Director at the Lyceum Theater of Arrow Rock. He told me all about a new show they’re doing, "Hank Williams: Lost Highway." It’s a huge, sweeping story about Hank's highest highs and lowest lows, and his hugely important music. This show is unique in that it has some of the country's best music music, and features a lead actor who actually also performs in a Hank Williams tribute tour. The best part is, his music is performed so well with the professional theater right here in our area.

So you’ll see a great show, and you’ll do it without the expense of a big trip to the city. Here's my talk with Quinn!

You can visit them on the web at their website or call them up at (660) 837-3311. Don't miss "Hank Williams: Lost Highway" Aug. 24 through Sept. 1!

Theatrically yours,
Behka
