How many of you enjoy a good fish fry?  My family grew up on those.  Obviously during Lent, they were more popular, but at least where I grew up, there were a lot of places, including bars and restaurants, VFW's, etc. that had them.  Always very popular, and they usually did solid business.  The Sedalia Optimist Club will be having one as a fundraiser.  Here are the details:

Looks like there will be all the parts of the normal fish fry that you may expect.  I was hoping for French fries as well, but no big deal.  I like the fact that carry out orders are available and if you wish to dine, you can enjoy a few cold beers too.

For those of you that might not be familiar with the Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club, according to their Facebook page:

We are business owners, educators, community leaders, retirees, professionals, and citizens with the common goal of being a "friend of youth".
We meet every Monday at noon in the Ox Horn Market, 108 W Pacific Street.
You can check out their website HERE.    As for the entertainment, Scott LeVan is a musician and you can learn a little bit more about him by clicking HERE.   He released a single called 'Corn Whiskey' and you can listen to it below:

Hope you can make it out to the event.  Live music, freshly fried fish, with all of the trimmings.  Prices for Adults - $12.50    Children 10 and under - $6.50

Bring an appetite. It is a fish fry after all.
