SFCC lost a Region 16 contest 72-67 to Crowder College from Neosho on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at home in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center in Sedalia.

The Lady Roadrunners started the game well on offensive and led 35-22 in the second quarter. The 13-point advantage was largest held by either team in the contest. SFCC would end the half with a 37-29 lead.

"We came out and played pretty well and got a little bit of a lead," said Bucher. "We got into foul trouble. That hurt us down the stretch as far as a type of style that we wanted to play. I thought Eliyah Howard gave us good minutes to help us get into the lead. Briasia Garza and Ty'Raven Linwood also played well."

Crowder outscored the Lady Roadrunners 21-12 in the third quarter to take the lead and secure the victory.

Garza led three Lady Roadrunners in double figures with 15 points. She also dished out a team-high five assists in the game. Coakley added 13 points and a team-high four steals. Linwood contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.
