KIX 105 Pool Party at Nassif Aquatic Center in Warrensburg [PHOTOS]

The conditions may have been overcast and there may have been a few sprinkles, but that did not stop the fun at the Nassif Aquatic Center (NAC) in Warrensburg for the KIX 105 Pool Party. Kids of all ages had a great time as we brought our traditional game of limbo, that had a record amount of kids participate.  This year we also brought back the money dive, where kids could get the chance to get quarters and tokens good for Sonic Cherry Limeaids.   Some of the tokens had the letters, D, K, R, or P that gave the finder a special prize, such as Missouri State Fair ride tickets, a gas card to Murphy USA, or prizes from the Warrensburg Parks and Rec.  

The kids certainly enjoyed their time at the Nassif Aquatic Center from beginning to end.  One kid said at the very beginning that this was his first time there, and that there was so much to do, he didn't know where to start.  We told him to jump into the lap pool and then go down the slide, and he did just that.

Another girl at the end of the day walked up to us and asked, "How come the pool was so much more fun today?"  Our complete answer was that it's because it's a KIX 105 Day at the Pool!  However, and I will stress this, you can have fun each day at the Nassif Aquatic Center.   She smiled big at that answer!

The fun continues on Friday, July 27 with the normal schedule opening at 1 p.m. There will be a special event called Parkapalooza, which celebrates National Parks & Recreation Month.  Grover Memorial Park will be packed with free fun for everyone 6:30-7:30 p.m. The party moves to NAC at 7:30 p.m. with $1 pool admission and a Dive-in Movie called Dolphin Tale at 9:00 p.m.
