This is why you should always get your concert tickets in advance, if you can. The Blue Note's website is reporting that Thursday's Jon Pardi concert in Columbia has sold out.

Pardi is taking the stage at 9th St. Summerfest on Thursday, July 19. For those of you that were lucky enough to get tickets, doors will open at 6 p.m. Showtime is 7. Opening will be The Wild Feathers and Anna Vaus.

Pardi's career has skyrocketed over the past few years. His album California Sunrise debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. It has been certified Gold. Pardi also won the CMA New Artist Of The Year and ACM New Male Vocalist Of The Year awards. He had three consecutive No. 1 hits: "Dirt On My Boots," "Head Over Boots" and "Heartache On The Dance Floor." Pardi will be co-hosting alongside Lauren Alaina during this year's ACM Honors event at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

If you were unable to get tickets for the Columbia show, Pardi will be back in our area in August as part of Luke Bryan's tour. He will perform with Bryan and Sam Hunt at their Busch Stadium concert on August 25. The next night, Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi will be in Kansas City at the Sprint Center.

Upcoming shows at 9th St. Summerfest/The Blue Note include Chase Rice on September 8, Sara Evans on September 15, Eli Young Band on October 4 and Ashley McBryde on November 29.
