Three southwest Missouri residents have been arrested on various charges after marijuana plants, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, weapons, and nearly $15,000 in cash were seized as a result of a narcotics investigation.

According to a news release, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Ozark Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a residence in Purcell early in the morning on October 4. Four cultivated marijuana plants and three-quarters of an ounce of methamphetamine were found, along with drug paraphernalia, weapons, and $14,922 in cash.

32-year-old Christopher Thompson, 34-year-old Daryl Weston and 37-year-old Kristina Buck, all of Purcell, were arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail.

Thompson was arrested for felony manufacturing of a controlled substance (marijuana). Weston and Buck were arrested for felony manufacturing of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with the intent to distribute.

On October 4, 2016, at approximately 6 a.m., members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 411 South Highland, Purcell, Missouri, as a result of a narcotics investigation. During the execution of the search warrant, officers seized four cultivated marijuana plants, three-quarters of an ounce of methamphetamine, weapons, $14,922.00 cash, and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher D. Thompson, 32, of Purcell, Missouri, was arrested for felony manufacturing of a controlled substance (marijuana). He is being held at the Jasper County Jail on a $40,000 bond. Daryl B. Weston, 34, and Kristina L. Buck, 37, both of Purcell, Missouri, were arrested for felony manufacturing of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute. They are being held at the Jasper County Jail on $50,000 bond each.

The charges for which the above individuals were arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
