When I was a young radio person I had an opportunity to meet a gentleman whose life had been shaped and changed for the better by being a member, then an employee, and finally a director of a Boys & Girls Club in Chicago. I still see it today on his Facebook page. I see it through friends he made at the clubs. Mentors that helped him become who he is today. And the kids he helped become great wonderful adults. So I'm serious when I say getting your kids involved in a Boys & Girls Club of West Central Missouri can be a life changing experience for them.

Currently Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is registering kids for their summer programs at "The Club" location and their Skyline Elementary location.

According to Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri summer activities "include hands-on learning programs with an emphasis on reading and STEM, plenty of outside time to play, field trip opportunities and swimming once per week."

The Elementary Summer Program, at Skyline Elementary, costs $10 a day and includes lunch and a snack. Swimming is $3 per week. This program is open to kids in kindergarten through fourth grade from 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

The CLUB Summer Program, at The Club in the basement of First Baptist Church, costs $5 a day and includes lunch and a snack. Swimming is $3 a week.

Current Boys & Girls Club members do not need to fill out a new membership packet, they should speak to their Site Director about enrollment.

New members, who didn't attend a Boys & Girls Club site during the 2020-2021 school year will need to fill out a member packet. You can do that here. Membership dues of $10.00 for the 2020-2021 school year must be paid. And if you'd like to get your child involved in Boys & Girls Clubs for the remainder of the school year contact the office at 660-826-8331.
