I Saw A Driver So Nerdy, It Makes Me Physically Ill
Now before you come down on me for the title, it's a reference to the show, and I'm sure the driver would get it.
Besides, Erica is the best character in like, the history of television. You can't spell America without Erica.
What am I talking about? Hold onto your butts, brochachos. We're gonna back it up. Let's not keep this door of curiosity locked.
So as you probably remember, if you've ever read anything I've ever written, I'm kind of nerd. I tend to get into something every now and then, and when I do, I go overboard. I have to know everything about it. I have to read every article, watch every clip, learn everything about it. It keeps going and going. Soon your co-workers are sending you nice emails about it, you're counting down days until people discharge from the military, you're buying FAR TOO MANY little white alpaca stuffed animals, and wondering how you got here. But it's not just me. If we're going crazy, we're going crazy together.
What I'm saying is, I know what it's like to enjoy something, and I know that feeling of not feeling like you can talk about it to people because they're gonna look at you funny, or they'll act like what you like is stupid, or whatever. So yeah, sometimes you have to express yourself your own way. And when I see other people do that.... I get a little giddy. You know, it's just cool to see!
Which is why I wanted to show you this! How cool is that! This person is really into scary stuff, particularly Stranger Things (I say that cos I'm not sure the taillight part is ST. But I know the other ones are). NJ is really into that show too, so I totally got the references. But there's more to life than stupid boys, you know.
And I bet you also think Erica is the best.
So to you, random driver I saw the other day in Sedalia, I say, Huzzah. I salute you. It might not be my favorite thing, but I enjoy that you love it enough to share a bit of that love with me. Emotions have been shared. Boundaries have been set. Order has been restored.
Nerdily yours,
Behka
