A 36-year-old man was arrested on December 9 after the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at a residence in Hughesville.

Authorities say two firearms, one reported stolen, and methamphetamine were found. Brandon Blaylock was taken into custody and has been charged by the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office with possession of a controlled substance, receiving stolen property, and unlawful use of a weapon. .

Also arrested was 19-year-old Ana Marcos, who was found to have an active Pettis County warrant for forgery.
