Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Pettis County
On Aug. 16, the Pettis County Sheriffs Office and Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 429 E. Harvey. During the execution of the search warrant, the primary target Orval Hudson was arrested.
Hudson was in possession of just under an ounce of methamphetamine as well as baggies, scales, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia. Hudson was charged by the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office with Delivery of a Controlled Substance as well as two counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All charges were enhanced due to Hudson being a prior and persistent offender. Hudson is being held on a $150,000 bond.
Then on Aug. 22 at 10:15 p.m., deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office assisted the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force with stopping a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 50 between La Monte and Dresden. A positive K9 alert by K9 Cav led to a search of the vehicle and the discovery of methamphetamine and raw powder fentanyl hidden under the gear shift.
The driver, Jonathaon O'Shea, was arrested and was charged today with Trafficking 2nd Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony) and is currently being held at the Pettis County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
"As usual, I am so very proud of this team," commented Sheriff Brad Anders.
