The Pettis County Community Partnership is helping Feeding Pets of the Homeless celebrate their 13th Annual Give a Dog a Bone week by collecting donations at their office between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT all this week.

Today is the first day I've heard of Feeding Pets of the Homeless, which according to their website is the first and one of the few national nonprofits providing pet food and emergency veterinary care to pets that belong to homeless people. Their website says:

We believe every pet deserves not to be hungry or suffer from an illness or injury.  If you are homeless, or a Veteran, and need help caring for your pet, we can help.

In the Sedalia area if you're homeless, or a Veteran, and are in need of food or supplies for your pet, the Pettis County Community Partnership is the Feeding Pets of the Homeless site in Pettis County. This week it's also where you can go and make a donation to help Feeding Pets of the Homeless.

The Pettis Country Community Partnership in Sedalia is at 1400 S. Limit Ste 29 in Sedalia, and they're accepting donations of treats, canned and dry food, open bags of food secured with tape, new and gently used collars, leashes, bowls, toys, beds, and crates every day the week of August 8, 2022.

In a Facebook post on the Pettis County Community Partnership Facebook Page, the group says there are pets here in our community that need our help, and that all donations of goods will go directly to pets of the homeless in our community.
