The Cops for Coats program is relocating to the Pettis County Community Partnership.

The Sedalia Police Department says new and gently used coats are being accepted, along with hats, gloves and scarves.

The program is a way to assist area residents who need help staying warm during the colder months.

The police department and Pettis County Community Partnership are accepting the clothing donations.

The Community Partnership is located at 1400 S. Limit, Suite 29. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
