Hey, Who’s The New Guy!

Yes, there is a new morning guy on KIX 105.7FM KXKX.  Please welcome Tim Thomas to the Townsquare family.  Tim, tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hello Sedalia and Warrensburg!

I am originally from a small town about 40 minutes west of Chicago called Villa Park.  Our claim to fame, is we had the first Ovaltine factory built.  Still love that chocolate mix.

I am a graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville IL, with a degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting.  And I have been doing radio for almost 9 years.  I am no stranger to Mid-Missouri having lived in Mexico and Columbia for a little over 5 years.  So glad to be back.

When I am not working, I like to stay involved and perform in community theater productions.  I am the founder and manager of the Off The Cuff Improv Troup of Mid-Missouri.  I am a big sports fan, and love my Chicago Cubs.  Win or lose.  I have happily adopted the Kansas City Chiefs as my AFC team, and I still like to watch the Chicago Bears.

One things you will also find out about me, is a love of animals.  We don't deserve dogs, and I am a proud cat owner.  As for music, my library is pretty diverse.  Love country music, classic rock, and old school R&B as well as a fan of almost anything 80's.  And I am very excited to get out and meet our listeners and those who have supported KIX 105.7  for so many years. I hope I make your mornings a bit more enjoyable.  I will give you the latest country music news, share my Stupid Criminal Stories, as well as local news and events.  Thank you for listening!
