Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Sunday night in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2016 Nissan Rogue was broke down on the mile-long bridge on Highway 7 around 10:45 p.m., when a northbound 2007 Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 16-year-old female from Clinton, struck the rear of the Nissan. The Jeep then overturned.

Two 16-year-old girls in the Jeep Cherokee suffered minor injuries. One refused treatment while the other was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Warsaw Lincoln Ambulance.

43-year-old Anthony Eades of Warsaw, and 39-year-old Eric Schraeder of Sedalia, both suffered minor injuries, and both refused treatment on scene.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed by Tolliver's Tow.

Benton County Deputies assisted the two Troopers on scene.
