Flash Flood Watch in Effect for Area

Widespread moderate to heavy rainfall (2-4") over central Missouri will lead to possible flooding of rivers, creeks, and low-lying areas. A flash flood watch is in effect until 7pm Tuesday evening.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then a chance of showers between noon and 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 84. North wind 8 to 13 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Tuesday Night

A slight chance of thunderstorms before 7pm, then a slight chance of showers after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

A slight chance of showers before 1pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
