A man from Eugene, Mo., was injured in an overnight wreck that occurred on I-70 early Friday morning in Saline County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2019 Freightliner driven by 53-year-old Raymond R. St. George of Eugene, was on I-70 at the 63.4 mile marker (east of Emma)  at 1:35 a.m., when the truck traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, then returned to the roadway before coming to rest on its passenger side.

St. George suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Heath Center for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Freightliner had extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.

Saline County deputies assisted the Patrol.
