Classic cars, modern cars, bikes, trucks, all will be on display at the Second Annual United Way Car Show on Saturday September 7, at the Gardner Denver plant in Sedalia from 11:00AM - 3:30PM CDT.

If you're looking to show off a car, motorcycle or truck the cost is $10 and will benefit the United Way of Pettis County. Last year 300 cars were shown and $3,000 was raised for the United Way.

This year the United Way and their partnership with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library will use the funds raised to tackle childhood ilitteracy in Pettis County.  There is no charge for spectators to attend and look at the cars.

This is a great event that's fun for the whole family! This year there will be a DJ, food and beverages, and a Gardner Denver Compressor raffle like last year. Additionally kids will be able to check out ambulances, fire trucks and police vehicles. Everyone will be impressed with what Whiteman Airforce Base and the Air National Guard is bringing to show off.

So if you have a classic or modern car you want to show off, or you just want to get out and enjoy a late summer day, make plans to attend the second annual United Way car show. You can learn more about the event on their Facebook Event Page here.
