Clinton Woman Injured in Rollover in Cass County

A Clinton woman was injured in a rollover accident that occurred Monday evening in Cass County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Aryn N. Nelson of Clinton was the driver of a southbound 2013 Chevy Spark, on Missouri 7 at Creighton, when Nelson changed lanes, striking the rear corner of a southbound vehicle. Nelson lost control, and her vehicle overturned in the median.

The other driver stopped briefly, but was not identified and then left the area.

Nelson suffered minor injuries in the rollover, and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the report.

The Chevy was totaled and towed from the scene.
