City of Sedalia to Spray for Mosquitoes

The Sedalia Public Works Department will be spraying for mosquitoes and flies between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. in the areas bordered by the below listed streets or the city limit.

The dates and spraying areas follow:

Tuesday, July 20, W. Broadway Blvd. (U.S. Highway 50) south to the south city limits and from the west city limits to S. Limit Ave. (U.S. Highway 65).

Thursday, July 22, From the north city limits south to W. Broadway Blvd. (U.S. Highway 50) and from S. Limit Ave. (U.S. Highway 65) on the west to S. Ohio Ave. on the east.

The City limits spraying to areas of citizen concern due to impacts to pollinators from the spray.

The spraying is weather dependent and will need to be rescheduled based on inclement weather conditions.
