Goodness gracious people, who doesn't love chocolate? Seriously, who?  Because I will come to their house and eat all their chocolate for them.  And I will admit to enjoying a glass of wine or two. The 3rd Annual Chocolate Gala and Wine Tasting will be held in Cole Camp on Sunday, Jan. 19.

We've had a couple of events here with our radio stations where I got to enjoy some great wines from local wineries, and you can't beat that.  I've even heard that red wine is good for you!  I'm all about being healthy, obviously. So you gotta check out this great event down in Cole Camp.  If nothing else, any excuse to go down there and eat some great food is always welcome.

This is a community event of chocolates and wine tastings.  It’ll be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at a cost of $15 a person.  It’ll be held in the Prizes will be given along with a silent auction.  You can purchase tickets at Handel Haus, Happy Trails Antiques and Collectibles, and the American Legion Building at 701 N. Main in Cole Camp. Wineries are Eichenburg Winery, Wildlife Ridge Winery and LaBella Vineyards and Winery.  Entertainment will be provided by Chris Kappelman and Ken Fuchs.  For more information, call Carol Rupp at 668-3675 or Teddie Schnell at 668-0834.

Chocolately yours,

Behka
