Admit it, you're in the Halloween candy already.

The  Annual Chocolate Gala and Wine Tasting will be held in Cole Camp on Sunday, Jan. 15th. You'd think they would have just named it "The Best Things in The World Gala," but I guess they have to be more specific.

Goodness gracious people, who doesn't love chocolate? Seriously, who?  Because I will come to their house and eat all their chocolate for them.  And I will admit to enjoying a glass of wine or two.

Well it's October, so that means we're gearing up for Halloween, apple orchards and all that fun stuff. But there's also another event to look forward to this month: Oktoberfest! The traditional German festival is cause for a lot of fun, and a lot of drinking! Wildlife Ridge Winery (WRW) will feature their eight specialty wines at the 'Sip and Shop' event this Friday, Sept. 27, from 3-8 p.m. at the VFW in downtown Sedalia.
