The Central Missouri Ag Club is happy to announce the winners of their annual photo contest. This year’s theme was “This is MY Agriculture.”  Winners received $100 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for third place in both the youth and adult division.  The first place winner was called "Sky Watching" by Sydney Anderson, age 17, of Tipton. Here's the winning photo:

Second place is "Hay Sense" by Sydney Anderson age 17 of Tipton, which shows a girl on a horse walking through a field of hay. Third place is called "Horns Sheep" by Katherine Kehl age 4 of Smithton. Her photo has a horned sheep beside a feeding trough. The judges gave honorable mentions to three entries by Lauren Yeager for her pieces titled: "Still Standing," "Tools of the Trade" and "Beauty at Sunset."

Sydney’s mom was thrilled when she found out they won and said Sydney will use the extra money to help cover the costs of her horse. The judges, Faith Bemiss and Sydney Brink, also wanted to make sure people knew they felt Sydney put a lot of thought into the captions of her photos.

For the adults, the winner was "Reflections" by Taylor Heller of Green Ridge., seen below

Second place was "Rotating Pastures" by Doug Kiburz of Sedalia. Third Place went to "Chores Done" by Bev Gerke of Sedalia. Honorable Mentions were given to Lesta Vogler for "Forsaken Loading Chute" and Mark Jones for "Feeding Time."
