Blackwater Woman Injured When Driver Falls Asleep
A Blackwater woman was injured early Wednesday morning in a one-car crash in Osage County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2003 Ford Focus, driven by 21-year-old Allex Fisher of Glasgow, was on Highway 63 at Rock House Lane (south of Freeburg) around 1:45 a.m., when he fell asleep while traveling through a curve, and the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a private drive.

His passenger, 23-year-old Kelly R. Liddle of Blackwater, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to University Hospital by Osage County EMS.
The Ford Focus had extensive damage and was towed.
