A Couple More Days of Rain and Then Sunshine Returns

Rain and thunderstorms will continue to move out of the area this morning with cloudy skies and cooler temperatures through this afternoon. Storms are expected to return later tonight as they move up from southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri and will continue into Saturday morning. Some storms could be on the strong side with small hail and strong winds possible.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms after 7am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a high near 74.
