A Couple More Days of Excessive Heat Then Relief on the Way
According to the National Weather Service, the forecast gets better as the weekend ends and we get into next week.
The dangerous heat will continue today through Saturday with high temepratures in the mid to upper 90s and heat index values in the 105 to 115 degree range today and the 105 to 110 range tomorrow. A cold front is expected to move into the area on Sunday bringing a chance for a few strong thunderstorms and much needed relief from the extreme heat.
